The privacy of your skills
Plain language, no dark patterns. Here's exactly what happens to a skill you submit.
- Private by default. A skill you paste or upload is private to you. We only ever run it inside our test harness — we never execute skill code, and never generate media.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest. Submissions travel over TLS and are stored encrypted.
- Never used to train anything without your opt-in. We do not feed your private skill into any improvement set unless you tick the opt-in box at submission (it is OFF by default).
- Never made public unless it already is. A permanent public grade page is created only for skills from a public registry source, or when you explicitly opt in. Pasted/private skills are never published.
- Retained 90 days, then the raw source is deleted. We keep the grade, the content hash, and the skill name; the raw SKILL.md is deleted after 90 days.
- "Don't retain my code." For sensitive submissions, tick this at submission and we delete the raw SKILL.md as soon as the grade is produced — keeping only the grade, hash, and name.
- DPA available for enterprise. Need a Data Processing Agreement? Talk to us.
How we improve without breaking that promise. We learn freely from public-source skills, from private ones only when you opt in, and from the human-adjudicated corrections raised through disputes. Your private code is not the price of a better grader.
